Hey, I hope everyone is doing well and that Farleigh Dickenson didn’t bust your bracket too badly. Here’s wishing you a Happy St. Patrick’s day, even if you’re not Irish. It’s too cold to sit outside on our Irish furniture–that’s what we call our patio furniture–but tell that to the flowers that are blooming everywhere.
On Saturday, March 25, I hope some of my central Kentucky friends will come see me at the Green County Genealogical Society Book Sale. It will be held at the Greensburg Community Center at 110 North Main Street in Greensburg, Ky from 9 AM to 2 PM Central Time. My books will be $15 each or two for $25, but if you mention you saw this post, I’ll let them go for $12 each or two for $20. Pretty good deal, huh?
I also want to invite everyone in the Louisville area to come out any Monday at 6 PM to the Barnes and Noble Bookstore at 801 South Hurstbourne Parkway in the Shoppes at Plainview. That’s where and when the Louisville Writers’ Meetup holds its weekly meetings. We’d love to meet aspiring writers and hear what you think of our efforts. Come once to learn the ropes, then the second time you can bring up to 2000 words to get free critiques.
Don’t be a stranger! I hope to see you soon.
