Hello, everyone! Whether it’s Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or any of the other celebrations that you observe, I hope you will have a wonderful event and that you and your family are able to gather together in whatever manner you observe.
I will be observing Christmas with my United States family and remembering the wonderful holiday we had just one short year ago with our son who lives in France and his wonderful in-laws. They visited us this past October and we had a wonderful time showing them the beauty of Kentucky. Linda and I look forward to seeing them again, soon, and in the meanwhile, we are enjoying time with our children, grandchildren, “adopted” family, and friends
A lot of people have New Year traditions they observe year after year. Some eat cabbage, some black eyed peas. I bake chocolate chip cookies. We’ll be having the Great Cookie Extravaganza again this year on New Year’s Day. I have to keep it up because I have a perfect record–in no year when I have baked chocolate chip cookies on New Year’s Day have I ever died. I’m pretty proud of that perfect record. It is part of my family saga. Maybe I should write a book about it.
I hope to see you soon!
